Mennonite Church USA endorses the Religious Freedom Peace Tax Fund Bill.
Official action of the Mennonite Church USA Executive Board in its June 30, 2009 meeting in Columbus:
Action: To appoint H. A. Penner to represent Mennonite Church USA on the National Campaign for a Peace Tax Fund board for a three-year term beginning in 2010 and to reaffirm endorsement of the Religious Freedom Peace Tax Fund Bill.
To pass this bill, dozens more representatives are needed to co-sponsor. Please take a moment to contact your representative and ask for their sponsorship. Your personal letter with a story from your life about your peace commitment is more powerful than a form letter.
