To learn and understand:
  • Particular social realities experienced by women in Central America and Mexico
  • Root causes of economic and social conflicts which lead women to migrate
  • Experiences of women during their migration journeys and in the US
  • Women's efforts to create viable alternatives to migration
  • Mexican and US immigration policies and practices
  • The work of MCC partners to respond to these realities
To commit to:
  • Sharing these stories and realities with others
  • Personal change
  • Solidarity with women in Central America and Mexico
  • Action and advocacy for justice
Cost: $1500 + travel to Tucson and from Chiapas
