Pan y Paz (Bread and Peace)

Last year many of you choose to be part of what became a miracle--helping the Colombian Mennonite church raise money for a public nonviolent witness on the United Nations International Day of Peace. North American Mennonites raised more money than anyone even dared HOPE for last year--making this year's activities possible. And our Colombian sisters and brothers returned the favor by providing worship and study materials, from their viewpoint. Even if you can't use these materials on the United Nations Day of Peace (September 21, 2003), the materials you find below can be used later for Sunday school class studies, for sermon helps, for worship services, for advocacy work.
