David Miller

David B. Miller has served as pastor of University Mennonite Church in State College, PA since August of 1997. Prior to moving to State College, Miller taught Bible and Pastoral Ministries at Hesston College in Hesston, KS.

In addition to pastoral responsibilities, in State College Miller serves on the boards of the State College Peace Center and United Campus Ministries at Penn State and was founder of the Centre Community Peace Team. He is MCC's appointment to the Board of Directors of the Center on Conscience and War in Washington, DC.

Miller is a graduate of Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary (MDiv, 1993) and Goshen College (BA, 1979). He is a DMin candidate at Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur Georgia. His project is "Missional Church/Peace Church - Ethical Congruence and the Church's Witness."

He is married to Mary Kathryn Schmid of Orrville, OH and together they are parents of four children, Emily, Elizabeth, Suzanne and Peter.
