J. Daryl Byler, former MCC Washington Office directory, gave a lamp to Patriarch Raphael I. Bidawid of the Caldean Catholic church, in Iraq, May 2002. Patriarch Bidawid has since died. MCC continues to work with the Caldean Catholic church. Daryl and Cindy Byler, his wife, currently serve with MCC in Amman, Jordan.
Susan Mark Landis, peace advocate, was a delegate on a Fellowship of Reconciliation grassroots diplomacy tour to Iran during the summer of 2008.
