Mennonite Church USA Executive Leadership encourages participation in Peace Day, 2006.

Mennonite World Conference news release (2006): Global Prayer for Peace Sunday planned for September 24

Mennonite World Conference has sent out worship materials, prepared by the Peace Council, to its member churches. The chosen theme is "Follow Me!" the invitation of Jesus, the Prince of Peace. Worship materials include suggestions for hymns, scripture, prayers, quotations from 16th-century Anabaptist leaders and a sermon outline.
