Susan Mark Landis
Susan Mark Landis lives in Orrville, Ohio. She is peace advocate for the Executive Leadership of Mennonite Church USA. In this capacity, she leads and organizes peace and justice advocacy work for Mennonite Church USA, coordinates interdenominational relationships concerning peace and justice issues, and networks and provides a structure for accountability for churchwide agencies and the Executive Board offices around peace and justice issues. She also serves on the Executive Board anti-racism team and provides a link to Christian Peacemaker Teams and Peace Tax Fund. Susan's joys are time with family (husband, Dennis, principal at Central Christian High School in Kidron, Ohio; Laura, medical school student; Joel, attending Eastern Mennonite University with a communications major (video editing) and Shadow, a friendly mistake that happened when a black Lab and a Dalmatian got together illicitly) and friends, working in the perennial bed, knitting, and thoughtful drama. She finds sustenance eating in ethnic restaurants and reading mysteries (because of all of life's problems are neatly solved within 200 pages).
