Choose life!

Very soon we'll begin a youth section on our Web site. We need
--youth to blog about peace and justice issues from a Christian viewpoint
--adults to write articles of interest to youth.

It's all volunteer! It's vitally important to offer compelling information about choosing life to youth.

To volunteer, email SusanML@MennoniteUSA.org

Christian Peace Witness for Iraq

March 16, 2007
Your Community and Washington, D. C.

We invite you to join thousands in a "Christian Peace Witness for Iraq." As followers of Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, our faith compels us to make our voice heard. We ask you to join us in praying for peace, studying the scriptures, learning nonviolence, lighting candles of hope, and gathering together for an ecumenical public witness on March 16, 2007, the fourth anniversary of the war in Iraq.

Peace and Justice Support Network of Mennonite Church USA is a partner organization. Susan Mark Landis is on the Steering Committee and hopes to see you all there! Please support this witness in prayer.

7:00 pm worship in Washington National Cathedral
8:30 pm candlelight procession to the White House
Evening vigil at the White House

Earlier Friday: nonviolence trainings and workshops
Saturday: denominational gatherings, including Mennonite Church USA
