A Forsythia Peacemaker
Isaiah 35

Thank you, God, for forsythias.
For the reminder that in those days
when the cold of winter,
the hopelessness of the daily news,
the heavy hearts within us,
just keep dragging on,
that boldness
and grace
and beauty
are still possible.
God, give me the courage to be a forsythia peacemaker.
