Yes, to think selling things in church is what Jesus was addressing is to miss the main point!
I'm asking myself what spring cleaning is needed in my life. It seems the answer is to clean the attitudes I have towards those who in my opinion are "narrow and self righteous." And to those who believe the answer to "terrorists" is to inflict our own "terror."

When I think of the millions and millions of young soldiers (I've seen the ages engraved on the tombstones in Europe) that have been horribly maimed and killed in battle, from whatever country on this planet spinning through space (literally), and sent out by politicians and older people, the following Charles Edward Montague quote comes to mind: "War hath no fury like a noncombatant."
