Mennonite Church Peace Resources for Youth

In the hymn "I Then Shall Live", verse two states "I know how fear builds walls instead of bridges; I dare to see another's point of view." I challenge you this week to put these lyrics into practice and try to appreciate what the other person is feeling like. So often this could help resolve minor conflicts before they explode. If the U.S. had perhaps been more aware and involved with the challenges faced by Iraqis, then maybe thousands would not have lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
