Cover the Uninsured Week

Mennonite Church USA is a National Supporter of Cover the Uninsured Week. http://covertheuninsuredweek.org

This March 10-16, 2003 series of events is designed to focus attention on the more than 41 million Americans who do not have any form of health insurance. We encourage congregations to use the materials prepared by Cover the Uninsured Week in services on March 16, 2003. Prayers, bulletin inserts, and sermon helps are available on-line.

The Mennonite Church adopted a "Resolution on Health Care in the United States" in 1993 that calls for "basic health care for everyone, everywhere in the United States."
