The Senate will likely take up immigration reform in early 2006, but the House plans to vote on a harsh enforcement bill the week of December 12.

The MCC Washington Office is inviting Anabaptist congregations to send 5,000 emails, letters, faxes or pictures to President Bush and members of Congress between September and December 2004, urging them to call upon Israeli and Palestinian leaders to build bridges for peace, not walls that divide.
